The First Biomechanical Design. The First DIN Certified Floor. The #1 Floating Panel System. Just What You'd Expect From Robbins.

Bio-Cushion by Robbins.

  • The system that initiated the Robbins legacy of safety, comfort and performance.
  • Better shock absorption and ball bounce versus other panel systems.
  • Combined with Continuous Strip® XL, Bio-Cushion floors are an economical and safer alternative to the older designs of the 1960s.
  • Your choice of pads makes Bio-Cushion family of floors a good choice for most facilities and activities.

The Overachiever
of High-Performance Floating Systems
.

  • Fully DIN-certified—meets or exceeds all six DIN 18032-2 criteria for ball bounce, shock absorption, deflection, area of deflection, rolling load and surface friction.
  • Specially designed deflection plate offers peak performance, dimensional stability and uniformity.
  • Patented resilient EPDM Bio-Pad,™ offers extreme shock absorption and vibration control through changing environmental conditions. Other Robbins Bio-Pad options can be utilized to “tune” the floor for ballet, aerobics, and martial arts performance. Contact your local Robbins Authorized Dealer for details.
  • Continuous Strip® XL Maple adds strength and provides a floor that can last up to 10 years longer than antiquated random-length strip.

The Robbins “original” Bio-Mechanical Design.

  • DIN-tested: meets or exceeds important DIN 18032-2 criteria including ball bounce, shock absorption, deflection and surface friction
  • Utilizes two layers of standard 15/32" Exterior grade plywood for economical installation.
  • Patented resilient EPDM Bio-Pad, offers good shock absorption and vibration control.

High-performance, Longevity and Value made possible by Robbins Innovation.

  • High-performance with Robbins’ Zero/G™ shockpad—continuous cushioning provides consistent support, optimal shock absorption, superior vibration dampening and uniform ball bounce. Special mold-preventive additives reduce the potential for fungus and mold to survive beneath the floor.
  • Precision milled Continuous Strip® XL450 surface consumes less raw material yet achieves the same wear life as conventional random length maple.
  • Value-Engineered to provide a cost-saving alternative to generic plywood and pad systems, with no compromise in quality or service.

Surface Options

Continuous Strip® XL Maple
Bio-Star features a precision-kerfed version of XL Maple strip engineered for additional flexibility and resilience. Compared to random length, XL Maple goes down faster, is straighter, stronger and exceeds the minimum requirements of industry grade rules. The patented finger-joint and milling requires less sanding at the jobsite and can increase the life expectancy of the floor by 10 or more years.

Continuous Strip® XL450 Maple
The traditional look of strip maple captured in a new low profile designed to maximize the use of raw materials. Robbins’ XL450 offers the same wear life as standard commodity random length maple but uses less lumber to manufacture with less waste. Provides a highly desirable natural appearance as a result of Robbins’ careful selection and grading process. Default construction for Bio-Cushion LP.

XLplus (Precision Lineal Uniform Spacing)
Available as a specified option on all Continuous Strip Maple, this Robbins exclusive innovation provides the owner a monolithic maple surface and virtually eliminates the need for spacer-cracks or expansion rows in the floor. Patent-protected and visually confirmed, XLplus adds dimensional stability to the floor and eliminates the need to specify “edge-grain” maple strip.

Fusion: The multi-function solution for your multi-purpose facility.
