About this Project

Our Lady of Mercy Academy was founded by the Daughters of Our Lady Mercy as a preparatory, all-girls Catholic high school in 1962.   The school grounds encompass a vast 57 acres that include academic buildings, sports fields, a chapel, a gym, and an indoor pool.

The urethane resurface was done by prepping the old floor with a deep cleaning and sanding. Once the floor is prepped, new urethane is poured over the existing floor.  Installers then paint game lines on after the urethane has cured.  Resurfacing an old gym floor like the one at Our Lady of Mercy allows for organizations to keep their athletic facilities up to date at a low cost.

OLMA decided to go with a monochrome Monsoon colored floor. The basketball lines were painted in dark green and the volleyball lines in white.

This facility is used for the school’s sports teams and many other purposes. OLMA holds assemblies, dances, musicals and plays, and more. Padenpor™ is the perfect floor for these activities, and will stand up to years of usage.
