Floating Floor Systems
About Floating Floors
Floating gym floor systems are not mechanically fastened to the substrate. A variety of system types and pad options tune shock absorption and resiliency for maximum comfort.
Floating floors are sometimes attached and placed together like a puzzle. They’re more environmentally friendly and cost-effective by eliminating the need for adhesives. Floating floors also react better to changes in humidity due to not being attached to the sub-floor.
Hardwood isn’t the only type of flooring that “floats.” Vinyl and synthetic floors are installed as floating floors and have similar environmental and cost advantages.
