It’s a new era at Bucknell University with the completion of the Pascucci Family Athletics Complex. The Michael C. Pascucci ’58 Team Center, which officially opened in April 2024, is a cutting-edge facility designed for Bucknell’s Division I student-athletes.
Abacus Sports is proud to have contributed to this state-of-the-art weight room, a cornerstone of the new 16,000-square-foot training facility. The exclusive space provides varsity athletes with modernized resources for strength, conditioning, and team training.
Jermaine Truax, Vice President for Athletics & Recreation, shared his enthusiasm:
“We are incredibly excited about the completion of the Pascucci Team Center, a modern training facility that will further enhance the student-athlete experience for multiple Bison programs.”
The weight room is powered by 6,750+ square feet of Regupol AktivPro Roll rubber flooring, complemented by 12 custom inlaid platforms engineered for heavy lifting. The platforms feature custom Crash drop zones featuring Bucknell’s iconic Bison head.
Student athletes will also benefit from a strip of blue indoor training turf integrated into the lifting area. With orange hash marks and lines, the turf adds a distinctive Bucknell aesthetic while supporting a variety of functional training exercises.
With the completion of the Pascucci Team Center, Bucknell University has reaffirmed its commitment to its Division I student-athletes, both on and off the field. The Pascucci Family Athletics Complex is more than just a training facility—it stands as a symbol of pride, ambition, and excellence for the Bison community.
